PAWV is thrilled to announce the opening of a new office on Monday, November 11th, in the historic Darden House located 421 Davis Avenue. We will be located on the second floor in office #3.
The office opening is also occurring in conjunction with the welcoming of our new VISTA, Tricia Lipton. Tricia is originally from the suburbs of Chicago. She studied history at Amherst College before earning a Masters in architectural conservation at the University of Edinburgh. Throughout her time at school she volunteered with several preservation organizations including Landmarks Illinois, Scottish Historic Buildings Trust, and the City of Chicago Historic Preservation Division. Her goal as a VISTA is to assist low-income communities to utilize state and national resources to better protect, preserve, and re-use their historic heritage.
The VISTA position is made possible through a sponsorship from the National Coal Heritage Area.
Stop by and meet our new VISTA! There will also be resources available from PAWV, in addition to those made available at the Preservation Resources Library on the first floor.
PAWV also maintains home offices in Morgantown and Slatyfork, WV. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you ever want to set up meetings in any of these offices. You can also reach us at 304-345-6005.
